Tomar, Batalha, Nazaré & Óbidos: Full-Day Tour Itinerary

Morning: Exploring Tomar and Batalha

1) Meeting point Pick up at your hotel 

8:00 AM – Pick-Up from Hotel

Begin your day with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel in Lisbon. Set off toward Tomar, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours.

2) 9:30 AM – Visit the Convent of Christ, Tomar

Your first stop is the Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a stunning testament to the power of the Knights Templar in Portugal. Explore the Chapter House, the Manueline-style window, and the charming cloisters that showcase a blend of architectural styles.
Duration: 1.5 hours

3) 11:00 AM – Depart for Batalha

After your time in Tomar, head towards Batalha, about 40 minutes away.

4) 11:40 AM – Visit the Monastery of Batalha

Next, marvel at the Monastery of Batalha, a Gothic and Manueline masterpiece. Learn about its fascinating history and explore the Unfinished Chapels and Founder’s Chapel, home to the tombs of King João I and his family.

Afternoon: Nazare and Obidos
